The project, a two-way four-lane bridge over the Chao Phraya River, consists of the main bridge and elevated approach bridges. The 475m-long main bridge inlcudes a 298m-long single-span and asymmetric single-tower three-stay cable-stayed bridge. The main tower is 175 meters high at herringbone . It is a reinforced concrete structure with an anchor spanof 175 meters. The project was officially opened to traffic on September 20, 2002.
