Officially launched in June 2018, CSCEC International Operations (CSCEC International) is the only second-tier subordinate enterprise of China State Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CSCEC) at home that focuses on overseas business. It was established to further implement the “internationalization” development strategy and accelerate the pace of “going global”. It is a new platform for overseas development after the overseas business management system was adjusted.

Taking over the operational responsibilities of the former Overseas Operations, CSCEC International is mainly involved in such business as investment and development (real estate development, construction financing, and operation), construction (housing and infrastructure), survey and design, as well as China-aided projects in other countries. CSCEC International has undertaken projects across China and over 30 countries and regions, including Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Philippines, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Egypt, the Republic of Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Côte d’Ivoire, Argentina, and Bolivia, etc.

Bearing in mind the mission and responsibility of becoming the “six forces” as a central SOE, CSCEC International has been actively supporting the government’s political and diplomatic policies, and fully participating in construction projects related to the One Belt One Road Initiative. Despite complexity of and changes in the international market, it managed to maintain the momentum of south development and make new high in terms of major indicators. 

Standing at the start of a new journey, CSCEC International will  uphold the philosophy of innovation-driven and reciprocal development, continue expanding overseas markets, develop new business and explore new business models, thus to make contribution to develop the Best and Road region.
