On May 22, President Kenyatta of Kenya looked into the progress of China State Construction’s Nairobi Park Road Affordable Housing Project. The project is located in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, and covers an area of 7.9 acres.  The plan is to construct 1,370 affordable houses and relevant supporting facilities.

President Kenyatta visited the sand table and construction site of the project and emphatically learned about the progress of the project. He spoke highly of China State Construction for its solid work style and project progress and thanked China State Construction for its contribution to the economic development of Kenya. He pointed out that high-quality affordable housing is urgently needed by the people and it is of significant political and strategic importance. As the first affordable housing project under the four major administration objectives of the government, the project will, due to its high construction efficiency and high quality, become a model for affordable housing construction and set a standard for the entire country.
