CSCEC has been playing an important role in China’s efforts on aiding other countries since 1950s. To date, CSCEC has finished 541 China-aided projects of different kinds in 66 developing countries which are mainly in Africa, and the total floor area of these projects are around 7 million square meters. Since 2000, the company has undertaken dozens of China-aided projects, such as African Union Conference Center, International Conference Center of Laos and Dangerous Drugs Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers Project in Philippines. Currently, CSCEC International Operations has a number of projects under construction, including China-aided hospital in Tunisia, China-Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition Center, Morodok Techo National Stadium Project of Cambodia,. All these projects are key aided overseas projects of China in the new era.

Not only the major premise where the diplomatic personnel work and live, embassy and consulate buildings also represent the international image, national strength and specific culture of our country. So far, the company has participated in construction of many Chinese embassy buildings and cultural centers and finished many government projects, including Chinese embassies in the US and South Korea, the Consulate General of China in Munich, the Thailand Cultural Centre and the restoration project of the site of the Sixth National Congress of CPC in Moscow.

By firmly implementing decisions and policies of the CPC Central Committee, CSCEC International Operations has become an important player in carrying out new development concept and comprehensively deepening the reform and implementing such major strategies as the “go global” strategy and Belt and Road Initiative.
